Whenever I open a file (whether it be a part, assembly, or drawing), what I believe to be a cache file is stored in the directory of whatever I'm opening. It is simply a copy of the filename preceded by ~\$ and when I have an entire assembly, all of the components have a cache file created and have this ~\$ in front of them all. It's only a minor inconvenience because it fills up my directory temporarily (not a major problem, but they are only temporary because when I do close out of the file that I had open, I can then delete them, but they always come back), but does anyone know of a way to hide these files?
Thanks,
James
