I'm wondering people's opinions on the following: All things being equal on the hardware side of a computer system, which operating system will give the best performance for Solidworks 2010 (and soon here 2011) - Win Xp Pro 64 or Win 7 Pro 64 bit?

I am currently, and have been for 2 yrs now, running on Win xp 64 bit. I do a lot of modeling and some FEA/CFD (will be doing a lot more soon). My company is going to be buying me components for a new system soon and I've spent some time spec'ing hardware, but am still uncertain about whether to keep running on Win Xp 64 or take the leap into the Win 7 64 realm as I haven't really had experience with the Win 7 OS. I want to be able to maximize the performance of SW and my productivity as much as possible so any insight from the SW community would be of much help.
