Last night I saw that eDrawings 2017 (pro and viewer) are released and that eDrawings now opens more file types.

We have Inventor files and I have, until now, had to use the Inventor Viewer to view them.

My problem is I am using SW Pro version 2015 (individual seat, not network).

I downloaded the pro version of eDrawings 2017 and installed it on my computer.

It asked for a serial number (I thought it would link to my SW seat).  I tried to use my SW seat S/N and it rejected it.

Will eDrawings Pro only work with the same version of SW?
