Why would a small company ever use PDM Standard BOM functionality?  Seems like a major complication.  Also I believe (not sure) the BOM in PDM is different from the drawing BOM?

I want to believe in PDM Standard (as a current WPDM (Workgroup) user). The entire thing feels over complicated; riddled with functionality I have no need for or will never use.  I encourage people to post reasons why I would chose to go to PDM Standard over a less complicated Workgroup PDM (WPDM); as I really do want to see value added.
