we are working at only one workstation with SW 2011 Professional. We don't have an external server for our files.

Now I have some questions about using PDM Workgroup and 3DVia:

Can someone tell me, why we should work with PDM Worksgroups instead of Windows Explorer?

If I have 2 HDs at my workstation, is it better to have the PDM at the same HD as SW or at the other?

When the project files are checked in at the PDM what about the access for 3DVia?

Maybe someone here can help me?
