I use a student version on my Macbook pro retina with Bootcamp on Windows 7 64 bit.

Computer secifications: i7, 4x2,7 GHz, 16 GB RAM, gforce GT 650 M 2 GB

I have a large assembly with 2000 simple parts and the size of the file is 14,9 MB. I linked the single parts all together and SolidWorks is really slow now. It often takes more than 1 hour until it finishes one simple action..

I noticed that it only uses 800 MB RAM.

Is there any possibility that I can change how much RAM SolidWorks uses or how I can make it work faster?
