I've been studying SolidWorks Simulation... The books about my doubt teach that at least one part of the assembly (pair of parts) has to be a shell element and the edge that is target of the weld has to be on the shell. Satisfied these conditions, the software can analyse forces and sinalize if the weld conector will or not support the strength. So, why doesn't this tool work with solid elements? Thanks!
