Ok, i've created a section view in an assembly, saved it with a name, select auto-hatch.. when i bring the view into a drawing, it just shows as a normal view... is there no way to take a section view from an assembly and bring it into a drawing/

is the only wayb to get a section view on a drawing is to add another view and then section it?
