Why can I dim unseen edges, and how to make it stop?

Hi everybody,

Every singe day when I'm making drawings, I have the option of dimming edges that are not visible, ever.  Not on the drawing, not on the part or assembly, not ever.  I can dim bend lines that are behind a layer of sheetmetal and/or glass, for example.

I don't really care why I have this moronic ability, but I would very much like to know what option to set to disable this "feature."  How can I make it so that I can ONLY dimension visible lines/surfaces?

Thanks in advance,

-Chris
