I have a sweep that has a circular profile and follows a helix for the path. Granted this on is pretty big 60’-0” tall with 150 revolutions but 80Mb? Really? Save-As knocks it down to 79Mb. I exported it to a .sat file and then re-imported it and the resulting assembly (w/ parts) is around 20Mb. How hard can I be for SW to remember to spin in a circle so many times and move in certain direction a given distance? It’s kind of like walking and chewing gum at the same time. I’ve had this issue with other spirals before but this one takes the cake. Do others have this problem or am I missing something?
Update... So the size does not seem to matter much. I just made a fresh part with a spiral that is 10’-0” tall with 20 revolutions… 60Mb.
