Does anyone know why a new revison is created when:

A part with two configurations is used in seperate assemblies. Nothing is changed only the two different configurations are activated or selected by an assembly.

An assembly with two configurations is used in seperate assemblies. Nothing is changed only the two different configurations are activated or selected by an assembly.

Same problem in both assembly and parts with multiple configurations. This is anoying as I don't want 101 revisions.

I have tryed to make parts and assemblies read only in the local view but this cuases problems when changing details and dimensions.
