I've done a certain level of exploring and haven't found the material density SolidWorks uses for calculated cost. I originally assumed it would use 'Mass Density' from the material I selected for parts. To test this, I went into said 'material' and changed the density by a factor of 10000, and the cost of my part didn't change. The material is not from the original 'Solidworks Materials', it's a copy of these that we've customized with appearances that we like. Is that the reason for this disconnect, or am I looking in a completely wrong field?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
