If I save a BOM to excel file, the table can not be inserted. I have to create a new file, copy-paste the contents into that new file, and then save this new file. Now, table can be inserted. There are also much more features that are greyed out in the original exported excel file. Please find a video below for better explanation. This is a very old issue for me, I had it with different versions of Solidworks and Excel - the problem continues, and I have to resave every exported BOM. Why is it so? How can it be solved?
