I am trying to create a best practice document and the question has come up as to what is the maximum number of mates that a SolidWorks assembly should have before you start to see issues. slow down in performance, unstable, ect.

The goal is to maximize sub assemblies so that mates do not get to high.

But what would you the community suggest?
