I've been a SW user since 2001. Now retired I wanted to be able to design hobby projects so after looking at free/open-source/cheaper options I purchased SW for Makers - which is a great deal, if only it worked. Every time I go to my computer before SW starts some hotfixes need to be installed taking up a lot of time. Today SW started crashing and is totally unusable. To top it off there is no option to repair the installation. I don't have any use for 3D experience or the 100 other apps I just need a functioning version of SW (shop floor machining would also be nice to have but it's more unstable than SW.
