I'm looking to draw on the many viewpoints and even more years of experience floating around here. I often have items that have shapes where one radius blends into another. The attachment shows how I've been detailing this. This doesn't "feel" right however. I'd like to not have to go through the trouble of creating the construction line which is used to create the theoretical sharps. The x-line is created by constraining the line tangent to each radius. The geometry itself is created from the cavity feature. From the machinist's standpoint is this type of dimensioning useful or am I better off dimensioning to the centers of the arcs? I've also included the files.
