When setting document props.(in a drawing template) there is a "layer" setting, can anyone tell me what function this has if any? For example I set my angular dim settings to a layer of "Dims", however when I add a dim it is placed on the current active layer. I would think this setting would force the dim to the specified layer set under doc. properties. Am I missing something?
