Hi all - I am a nubie PDM guy.  I am playing with my dummy vault to figure out all the kinks before I go live in PDM.

When I check a file into the vault, it commences to search for stuff for several minutes:

While I am confident it is doing something amazing to make my life better, I don't know what it is and therefore is it worth the delay.  Does anyone know what it is, and if not necessary, how do I tell it to stop?  Thanks, Bill
