I'm about to graduate from college and am looking to buy a computer or parts to build a computer to run solidworks 2014. I'm a part of the Formula SAE team on campus and I would like to engineer and build my own car when I get out of school. So that means lots of multibody FEA's, Steel spaceframe FEA's, Composite FEA's, and CFD's for wings and body's. I also am trying to get ansys to help run some FEA's but my computer right now just crashes when i try to use it. I was just wondering what kind of Specs everyone suggest so I can put together a computer that will be able to handle all of this.
