The "improvement" in SW2009 that you can choose whether to keep or discard segments of a trimmed weldment is mostly causing us grief. We almost never actually want the end segments and sometimes they are kept by default. The result is, either we have to awkwardly click and unclick the awkwardly placed keep/discard tags, which can take lots of time, especially when multiple profiles are trimmed in one feature (like in a large truss). Or altrnatively, we leave the segments in by accident and end up with lots of odd little things in our cut list.

What I want to know is, is there a way to set the defaults to discard the end pieces that were always discarded pre-2009?
