Hi All,

I want to simulate the stress of the following model which is a assembly of two pipes.

Instead of drawing a full model method, I try to use the weldment functions of Solidworks to treat this model as a beam element to simulate.

step 1: draw two line sketch

step 2: structure member

Then I have found that the joint position is not my expectation. The small pipe should reach to the outer surface of the large pipe instead of penetrating to the center of large pipe.

So, how to set the weldment to get my expected model? Thank you!
