We build welded stand assemblies as a subassembly to our product. We use the weldments feature to design these stands. The stands are provided in a few materials (Carbon Steels, Stainless Steels, Etc.).

We are trying to figure out how to automate the addition of our own part numbers into the bills of materials.

As an example;

4” x 2” x .25” structural steel tube in Carbon Steel is part number CS4225A;

4” x 2” x .25” structural steel tube in 304 Stainless Steel is part number SS4225A

4” x 2” x .25” structural steel tube in 316 Stainless Steel is part number SS4225D; Etc.

How do we get the part numbers into a selectable design table to auto generate our description and part number in the cut list?
