I can't change the material in a weldment. The "material" option is not there? This parts was created in 2006.  We are now using 2015.

Checking my sanity I created a test part.  the material choice is where I expected it to be.

It does not matter if it's a structural member or an extruded body.

It does this on 2 different computers.

I have another I'm sure related problem.

Selecting the material in my test part does not update the material property in the cut list.

Notice the below the structural member in the cut list it says 6063-T83 but in the property is says ASTM A500...

Does anyone have a clue what's going on here.

The material is changing because the mass of the part changes.  But the property for the cut list will not update.

Our fix is to create a custom property called "mat" and type in what we want then change our cut list table to display "mat".
