Im having a welding problem.  I have a 1" x 4" tube with radius corners and i'm trying to weld it to a flat piece of .080 metal.  I can get the welds on the drawing but they go throught the flat sheet.  is there a way to stop this?  all I want it to do is go from the edge of the 1x4 to the face of the sheet.
