If you have VPN access to your server you may find you can't log in to PDM due to no ipv6 support in the PDM license server application. All the pings work it just wont issue a licence over the VPN.

Solidworks are issuing temporary monthly machine licences for PDM as a workaround to this issue. My VAR sorted this out for me, and I'm up and running.

I'm now waiting for another couple of machine licences now my colleagues started to take their desktop PCs home.

Now there is a backlog and we are in the queue somewhere.

So a heads up for those who might have this issue, do get it sorted sooner rather than later. I guess at SW hq they will have staffing issues soon enough.
