There is a known problem with Office 2007 programs crashing ifSoildworks is occupying the lower 3 gigabytes of memory on a Vista64 workstation? Co-workers are having a lot more problems with thisthan I am having. We've tried various fixes to this includinguninstalling and re-installing Office. I feel partially responsiblefor the problems they are having since i am the one who persuadedour IT person to upgrade to x64 Solidworks, since on my machine the3 seem to co-exist pretty peacefully.. Why isn't more published onthis problem? Why hasn't MS done more to make their Office suitemore x64 Vista compatible? Why hasn't DS/SW provided a fix or moreinformation on this problem? It's almost a deal breaker for myco-workers who've threatened to downgrade back to 32 bit SW.
