At my company we just installed a new server. We have Workgroup PDM installed on the virtual server and all library files (design library, templates, weldment profiles, etc.) hosted on the server. Before we had everything on a Windows 7 machine that we used as a server. Ever since the move to a virtual server our SolidWorks users have had constant crashes when it comes to operations (starting new drawing/assembly/part, toolbox, weldments, etc.) that access files on the virtual server. This leads me to believe its the virtual server that is the problem. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
