Hi all.
I've just got a brand new Dell T3500 workstation with a Quad core processor 9Gb RAM and an Nvidia Quadro FX 3800 video card and Vista 64bit.
Problem is video refresh. It keeps happening, I rotate the part/assembly but all I see on the screen is a tiny rectangle that rotates and the rest of it stays static (non rotated). Sometimes it catches up within a second or so but other times I justhave to sit & wait. If I "Alt-Tab" out to another window then back again then the area that was occupied by the other window is updated but not the rest. Also if I start Task Manager then drag this window around on top of SW then I get a trail of Task Manager windows trialing behind it.
I've tried putting my old Nvidia card in (FX370) but no improvement and I have the SolidWorks Certified driver and I've tried all the other drivers too and SolidWorks 2008, 2009 2010. My old CAD software (WorkNC CAD) also gives a very similar problem but then goes into "Non 64 bit Compatability mode" and then crashes.
I've disabled the annoying UAC before anyone suggests that one and also run it with no other application running too.
Any Help please
