I did some searching but still looking for input.

I have an older Dell Precision 380 system (Pentium 4, 3 MHz system with 4 GB memory) running Window XP.

The system came with the nVidia Quadro FX1400 which is on it last leg (fan is dying).

What video card should I replace it with?  (FX1400, FX1700, or FX1800)

I do medium size assemblies with quite a bit of rendering. I am also using a large screen (24" @ 1920X1200).
