Am I right in thinking the only place the variables will be controlled within a part (which then relays the info onto the drawing) is from within the custom or configuration specific settings? Ive got a part and drawing to which I am trying to clear a certain field (take out the text and put a - in) but the variable will not change on the data card. Or am I missing a location? Ive tried saving and also doing a rebuild (although its happening on both part and drawing) but no joy as of yet.

Any ideas please?
