Anybody tried using these two?

I used the example file from the what's new to try the Variable Pattern Table . Once the pattern feature was done, I double clicked on the feature and changed the dimension via an equation. Now if I edit the table, I can still change that dimension in the table and it doesn't gives out any error. The dimension reverts back to what it should instead of new value (i..e the value per the equation). Now I think while I was editing the cell in the table, SW should prompt that I can't change this value as it is controlled by the equation. Any thoughts?
