Good afternoon to you all,

I'm trying to (I guess you can say) re-design a ship bell for the USS Tennessee battleship museum in Tennessee. I designed the bell portion of it but I'm having issues with the lettering. I can get it where there's lettering on the bell face but it shows up as an arc instead of a straight horizontal line, do y'all have any ideas on how to do that?
