I'm trying to design this part:

I am wondering what is the best, most efficient way to draw this part? I know that the sweep feature will be used. It appears to me that I should start by drawing the base. From what I understand, sweep requires two intersecting sketches. So, after drawing the base, I should, on a perpendicular plane, draw the cross-sectional profile of the part, making sure that it intersects the base? Any tips, ideas, and hints would be appreciated!
