We have a problem with our engineers remembering to add a revision block when they make changes to a print. Since the PDM I.D. is always reved up everytime the part is released could we some how verify the PDM I.D. and revision block match? Our outside suppliers are of course trained to look for changes in the revision block and when it gets missed the supplier assumes they have a current print. Any other suggestions on how to control this would be welcome.
