Hello,

I was hoping someone could give me a simple checklist (or explain fully if you can) on how to get the input from a simple user form to the main module of the macro so that I can use it in later code.  The example i'm trying to do is grab the text entered by the user, ie, for item number 123456, and then bring that item number back in the macro with a variable.  I then would like to get the item number to be entered into the design table.

I've searched a lot and find many tutorials on the web, but a lot of the stuff there is plain visual basic and I'm having a hard time trying to take that into solidworks API...

Any help would be much appreciated.
