I'm planning to upgrade to SW 2011 soon and was wondering if I should consider upgrading my OS before I do this.

I have a Dell Precision M6400, Intel 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz, 4Gb RAM, Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M and running XP Pro 32 bit.

I am a very light user of SW and I don't get many problems with my current setup but having recently attended a SWUGN technical summit in Birmingham (UK) the advice given was that Windows 7 was the way to go. The other question that I have is that if I were to upgrade which version of Windows 7 would be the best?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
