I don't use SolidWorks regularly but every time I need to it seems that it requires an update which is frustrating and time consuming at very least.
Today login to the 3d experience platform and receive another update notification. On the 3d experience page it is flagging "install" on SolidWorks design.
Click install and window 1 appears with "download 3d experience launcher" (which I already have). Select it anyway.
This the next window provides 2 options or repair or remove. As I already have this installed first option was to select repair.
Went through the repair process several times, restated PC, logged out of 3D experience, shut down PC, re started PC several times and still no improvement.
Ok so next time select "Remove". Again go through the process an it does not remove and does not allow me to re install.
Seems like updates cause more problems than they resolve!!
What is causing this issue and how do I resolve it?
