Today i did a complete uninstall of SW using instructions from our SW provider. This included doing an uninstall from add and remove programs, deleting any SW folders in Program files and deleting SW file in the regedit per their instructions. after I did the reinstall of SW x64 (XP 64 operating system), I opened SW and attempted to map to our templates under Options, File Locations a window popped up with the heading Windows Installer. this basically locks up the computer. This also happens if i try to open PDM Enterprise. Our IT service (external) ran CCleaner and found several registry issues that got fixed. they also found that several Microsoft update were either removed or never installed (automatic updates on).

Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this issue by simply doing an uninstall/reinstall?
