Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble installing the SOLIDWORKS Student Edition on my computer for use in my university studies. During the installation process, I cannot select the option "Install on this computer" because it says:
"A newer version is already installed. To check for updates, go to Start > All Programs > SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager > Check for Updates."

However, I do not have SOLIDWORKS currently installed on my computer. I already uninstalled everything related to SOLIDWORKS that I could find, including any leftover files and registry entries, but I still can't proceed with the installation.

Has anyone faced this issue before or know how I can fix it?
