I use extrude boss base in assembly to create electrodes  for injection mold tools. Before r2011 I could insert new part in an assembly and extrude boss, then use insert, molds, cavity, and pick extruded part from assembly. It seems I am unable to accomplish this with r11.

What am I doing wrong?

Please note I am not fluent with solidworks, just use as needed.
