Two configurations of assembly model to make two drawings and BoMs.

I have an assembly model that uses two configurations, with the only difference between the configurations is that one uses one glass filter and the other uses a different version of the filter.  Different filter part numbers.

I need to output a pdf of an assembly drawing for each of the two.  I do not want to make two distinct drawings with the second one being a copy of the first, with the second configuration selected, because subsequently when I find typos or changes I will have to change both and that's were errors creep in.

I would be calling a different BoM configuration and would change the name of the drawing in the title block and that would be about it for differences.

Certainly I can do this by hand.  -- Just make the first drawing.  Insert the BOM from the first config and text edit the drawing's title block.  Saveout a PDF and then change the BOM's config and then edit the drawing's title block and saveout the pdf.  But I'm trying to think how to eliminate confusion if another person has to edit the whole thing.

Is there a way to make two configurations of the assembly drawing that calls two configurations of the assembly?
