I have just started SolidWorks Tutorials>Building Models>3D Sketching.  I have reached the page titled "Using Sweep to Complete the Feature".  It reads:

1. Select the Right plane in the FeatureManager design tree, the click Sketch (Sketch toolbar) to open a 2D sketch on that plane.  I do this.

2. Sketch a circle 5mm diameter circle at the origin at the origin.  I do this also (using Sketch Smart Dimension).

3. Click Exit Sketch (Sketch toolbar).  I can find the "Sketch" icon in the upper left corner of the Sketch toolbar.  I cannot find an "Exit Sketch" icon anywhere. I click the "Sketch" icon and nothing appears to happen.  I type the escape key to leave Sketch.

4. Click Swept Boss/Base (Features toolbar).  Now I know I'm in trouble.  When I go to the Features toolbar the Swept Boss/Base icon along with most (not all) of the Features toolbar icons is grayed out (not available).  What is happening and what should I do?
