Hi All,
I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to miter the end of a structural beam. This is probably a simple task and I'm missing something. I have a W14x90 and I need to put a 2.09 degree miter on the left end. I basically drew a line at the proper length of the beam, then used the "structural member" feature under "weldments". Once I got the beam on the screen, I started a sketch on the left end at the outside of the bottom flange and drew a line at the correct degree. But now how do I cut the beam to the miter? I thought maybe an extrude cut by picking the line or making a new plane at the 2.09 degree off the RIGHT plane but couldn't get what I need. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
