Hi folks, I'm new here, trying to find answers. This seems like a fundamental question but I have not found the solution in my searching. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am defining a new sheet format and would like to link the title block text to the revision table (simple right?). After numerous tries varying my order of operations and checking/unchecking various check-boxes, document properties etc., I am having no success. Below are the instructions I have been following to no avail. When I complete the sequence and test 'Add Revision', the title block note does not respond. Does anybody have suggestions for what I am doing wrong here?

- Click Note on the Annotation toolbar, or click Insert, Annotations, Note.

- In the dialog box, click File Properties.
- In the Summary Information dialog box, on the Custom tab:
- Select Revision in Property Name.
- Click in Value / Text Expression, and press the spacebar.
- Click OK.
- In the Link to Property dialog box, under Use custom properties from, select Revision from the list, then click OK.
- Click OK .

- Insert a revision table.
- Right-click in the revision table and select Revisions, Add Revision.
