My current solution is to turn off the Trend Micro Internet Security 2015 anti-virus just prior to check-in or check-out.  I had no problem with SolidWorks 2014 and Trend Micro Internet Security 2014.  Maybe an obscure setting in the anti-virus exclusion list?
