Hello All,
I have recently made the complete transition from Pro|E to Solidworks and I have a couple simple questions. I wonder if anyone can lend some insight?
A) Is there any ability to view my design tree with my features numbered as I build? I know I can get a total using Feature Statistics, but I'd like to be able view them in real time... It takes a bit of time to navigate through 1000+ features without some kind of numerical reference.
B) When SW creates a feature, it automatically wraps all of the parents into said feature (ie. 4 sketches wrapped up into 1 Loft). I understand that this is to keep things neat and organized, but I don't care for it - It seems disconnected from the visual space/time continuum to roll up before a feature is created, but still have to go work after it to alter it. I'm beginning to call it Marty McFly syndrome. Is there any way to turn this little widget off and just visually see my sketches & features where and when I created them? (I've attached an quick example)
Thanks in advance. This site is a great resource. Glad to be a part of it now :^)
Mike
