I am just starting to use my test vault, and I was able to import settings, etc. from my production vault using the Export and Import functions.  Since then I made adjustments to the settings on some of the variables in the production vault (specifically, I removed an attribute), and I'm trying to get those changes into the test vault.  Other than making those changes again to the variables in the test vault, I can't seem to get the new settings in.  I've tried Export/Import, I've tried dragging the updated variable from the export file onto the variable in the test vault tree in the Admin tool.  I've tried the "Import" button on the "Edit Variables" window, but it wants a .cvr, not a .cex, and I don't know how to make a .cvr.  I can't delete and reimport the variables unless I delete all the data cards they are used on first, which I'd rather not do every time I change a variable, especially when going the other way (from Test to Production).

Those of you using test vaults, how do you manage edits to variable settings?
