I am a student using SolidWorks Student Edition and I am attempting to transfer a SolidWorks license from my old computer to my new one. As a first step, I wanted to download SolidWorks onto my new computer from the SolidWorks website. However, when I tried to create an account with my current SolidWorks serial number I got an error telling me the number was invalid.

I have rechecked the number several times and am sure it is correct. I am using SolidWorks student edition for academic year 2013-2014. I found the serial number by going to Help/About SolidWorks...

I also tried to go into the license manager (SolidNetWorks Licenses) but there were no licenses listed. So even if I got the product downloaded I don't know how to transfer the license. Has anyone run into (and fixed) any similar problems?
