I'm trying use a top down modeling method to form some sheetmetal components.

I would like to control everything from a master sketch and design table. Maurico has been so kind as to upload his 'Parametric Pallet Assembly' so I'm trying to replicate his methodology. I can do it if I'm using a boss or extrusion in that I can extrude to a vertex (point) which is referenced to the master sketch. When I change the dimension in the master sketch the length of the boss/extrusion changes. However, when I try and do this with a sheetmetal edge flange I cannot select a point to determine the flange length. Does anyone have any ideas why this would not work? What am I doing wrong?
