Attached is an assembly of a tubular leg bolted to a plate.  I need to see the effect of a side load on the bolt and the top disc in the assembly.  For some reason, none of the constraints or connections have allowed this to work properly.  With the top plate supressed, and the top surface of the tube fixed, the side load on the bottom raised section works perfectly, and I see what looks like proper deformation of the tube.  When attached to the anchor plate, the simulation will still mesh, but tube deformation is not evident, and no stress is transfered to the top disc.  Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
